BROOME TO WYNDHAM
PRICE for 2011: $7,800

DAY 1
Leave Broome at
approximately 10 am travelling via the coast arriving Cape Leveque
by evening.
DAY
2
After a hearty breakfast, while travelling through the picturesque scenery of
the Buccaneer Archipelago, we will pass Cockatoo Island
to view the iron ore mining in progress.
We will then travel to Crocodile Creek and Silver Gull Creek to anchor
for the night.
DAY
3
We start the day with a visit to Phil and Marion’s famous retreat
“The Squatters Arms”.
Bring your bathers as the fresh water swimming tank with breathtaking
views is a must. We will be
leaving Silver Gull Creek at approximately lunch time passing through the
magnificent Koolan Island Gap to anchor at Horizontal Falls
for the evening.
DAY
4
We will leave the Horizontal
Falls travelling to
Raft Point to visit one of the most spectacular Aboriginal Art
galleries. We will then visit
Cone Creek and see the Ruby
Falls. From there we will cruise onto
Montgomery Reef (tide permitting to view the exposed reef at low tide which
gives the water a cascading effect that is spectacular).
DAY
5
We will travel via Camden Sound, Kuri Bay Pearl farm to the St George
Basin. This is one of the Kimberley’s
largest water ways. We will spend
time exploring and fishing.
DAY
6
Breakfast will be served as we cruise up the Prince
Regent River to the
Kings Cascade Falls. This will take most of the day and
then return to the mouth of the Prince
Regent River
to anchor for the evening.
DAY
7
Option 1 We will cruise to Careening
Bay to view the famous
Boab Tree. This tree was engraved by the crew of the HMS Mermaid in
1820. We will then proceed to the
Hunter River
to meet up with the helicopter for a scenic flight over the Mitchell Plateau
and Mitchell Falls. (helicopter rides are optional
and the cost will be approximately $400 per person)
Option 2 We will cruise to Careening
Bay to view the famous
Boab tree. This tree was engraved
by the crew of the HMS Mermaid in 1820.
We will then travel to the Mitchell
River via Bigge Island
to view more Aboriginal Art that depicts early settlement.
DAY
8
Option 1 Cruise to Bigge Island
travelling up through the Admiralty Gulf to Kingsmill
Island to anchor for
the evening.
Option 2 Anchor the main vessel
halfway down the Mitchell River then travel by tender to explore the Mitchell
River and whilst there try your hand at Barramundi fishing or crocodile
spotting.
DAY
9
Today we will cruise through the Eclipse Archipelago calling into Vansittart
Bay to explore early settler sights and view the Bradshaw Paintings at Rocky
Cove. Try your hand at fishing then a visit to the crash site of a WWII DC3
before heading to Cape
Talbot to anchor for
the night.

DAY 10
We will spend the day sightseeing around Cape Londonderry
to the mouth of the King George River..

11
We will explore the vastness of the King George River in the main vessel,
viewing the magnificent waterfall at the end. There is a walkway leading up the hill
to the top of the waterfall. The
view from the top is worth the climb.
DAY
12
Leaving the King George River in the early morning we will make our way up to
the Berkley River for more fishing and exploring.

13
Today we will travel from the Berkley
River through the Cambridge Gulf
to the Helby River to anchor for the night.
DAY
14
We Travel the 45 miles up the Ord River
to Wyndham. Having breakfast
along the way. Marvel at the
sheer volume, changing currents and abundance of wildlife. We disembark at Wyndham for your
transfer to Kununurra airport for your flight home.
